Will Via work with my iPhone and Apple Watch?

Yes. Via is compatible with:

  • iPhone: iPhone 12 through 17 series (including Air, Pro, and Pro Max models with MagSafe).
  • Apple Watch: Series 6 through 11, SE 3, and Ultra 2 & 3.
Can it charge both devices at the same time?

Yes. Via is designed for dual charging. The main pad charges your iPhone while the fold-out arm charges your Apple Watch simultaneously.

How much charge will Via provide for my iPhone?

Via’s 5000mAh battery provides a substantial charge for the entire iPhone 12 to 17 lineup. Below are some estimates, though actual results vary based on your device's model and battery health:

  • Pro Max / Plus Models: Approximately 70-80% charge.
  • Pro / Air / Standard Models: Approximately 85-95% charge. This is based on real-world testing of an iPhone 15 Pro charging from 0-87%.
  • Mini Models: Approximately a full 100% charge.
Why doesn't the 5000mAh battery give my phone a full charge and a half?

This is normal for all wireless chargers. About 30-40% of a power bank's energy is lost during the wireless transfer. Via delivers the industry-standard usable power of approximately 3000-3500mAh.

Do I have to take my phone case off?

While Via works through most standard cases up to 4mm thick, we recommend using a MagSafe-compatible case or no case at all for the strongest magnetic connection and fastest, most efficient charge. Always remove metal attachments, wallets, or grips before charging as they will interfere with the connection.
